Ok thanks , I was wondering since the middle one seemed to have been ripped off and the right and left were linked to the two taps. I took a look at it this weekend and they are in fact located AFTER the carb, they are on the engine intakes, just so we are talking about the same thing.
Thanks I didn’t know about this particularity ! My xv500 already had that system with the “PRI” position that I’ve never understood, I even one ended out of gasoline after the reserve position failed me…maybe I should modify it the the two bikes.
I might get back to you when I get to do it, there is some vocabulary for which the author used abreviations I wouldn’t want to mess up my taps.
From what I am reading on the net the “30” refers to the thickness of the bearings, from 00 to 50. So giving the fact that apparently these pieces wear off anyway (slowly but they do) apparently you will be able to use any others from 00 10 20 40 and 50 and the bike will “get used to it” with time without risking anything.
Good to know also : apparently XS1100 use the same parts, we need to check but I suspect XS850 should use the same parts.
